The "Memorial Day" which was original called "Decoration Day" is very significant in America as a time to remember and honor those who served and died in the service of the United States of America. This day was officially proclaimed on the 5th of May, 1868 by General John Logan, national commander of the Grand Army of the Republic and was first observed on May 30, 1868.

SAGSOBA stands for the name of a great high school, St. Augustine's Grammar School old Boys association in Imo State, Nigeria.
